Police were baffled by the murders, which were seemingly random. But as police dug deeper into the investigation that dragged on for three years, they discovered that the killer might be closer to home than anyone ever expected.
Christine Paolilla was apprehended San Antonio, Texas, where she had been holed up in a hotel for months using heroin. She has been convicted of murdering 4 of her friends Marcus Precella, Tiffany Rowell, Adelbert Sanchez and Rachael Koloroutis. Christine Paolilla is in the process of appealing her conviction.
